1:1 Program at Drake

Drake 1:1 Program

For 6th and returning 7th grade students during the 2019-2020 school year our Drake 1:1 program will remain the same with a rent to own program. If the device is paid in full by the end of your child's 8th grade year, all Jeffco filters and apps will be removed and your child will keep it for personal use.

Remember that all Chromebook devices are turned in at the end of school year and kept over the summer.

Important Parent Information For 2019-2020

Incoming 6th grade students will be receiving the 2nd Generation 100e Lenovo and Drake MS will be continuing our 1:1 Program established last year. The price will be $223. It is highly recommended that parents make either a first or full payment before registration on August 5th and 6th of 2019 to avoid long waits. For more information on our future transition to the DISTRICT 1:1 PROGRAM please open the LETTER FROM PRINCIPAL.

Look for communications to be sent our about our special 6th Grade Parent Night that will review our 1:1 program. Technology agreements will be handed out at that time to ease the checkout process once school begins. More information will be forthcoming during the summer.

Please Note: New 7th grade students will come to the library to be assigned a Chromebook for the year. These students will not be participating Drake's current 1:1 program due to our transition to the district wide program but will instead use a Chromebook that will remain district property.

8th grade students will continue using the Chromebooks available at school.
